What changes the Pro price?
Moosend asks for your number of contacts before showing a Pro price. It says unique email addresses are counted: the same subscriber appearing in more than one list or segment is billed once. If your list grows beyond the current limit, you need to upgrade; if it shrinks, you can downgrade at the end of the billing cycle.
This makes a realistic list forecast more useful than comparing only the smallest advertised tier. Check today's list, a plausible 12-month list and the cost at both sizes.
Monthly vs biannual vs annual
The official pricing page currently advertises flexible monthly billing, 15% off when paying twice a year and 20% off when paying annually. A longer term lowers the effective price but also commits more cash up front. Use monthly while validating the workflow; consider a longer term only after your import, automations and reporting pass a real test.
How email credits differ
Credits are not a monthly subscriber plan. One credit sends one email to one recipient, and Moosend says purchased credits do not expire. The current official page lists these bundles:

When Moosend+ becomes relevant
Moosend+ is the custom route. The official page lists optional capabilities such as transactional emails, dedicated IPs, hosted files, custom reports, SSO and SAML, audience discovery and additional team members. Do not request a custom quote simply because your contact list is large; request one when the specific add-ons or service level solve a defined requirement.
